This means their hair cuticle has not been damaged so the hair lays flat and stays straight with no problems with tangling. The hair is cut and treated which causes the cuticle layer to lay flat, it is the sold to hair manufacturers, beauty supply stores, and beauty salons. Indian remy or cuticle hair always comes naturally in jet black, off black, or medium brown with some reddish highlights. It colors beautifully too. The texture is silky soft with subtle waves. Cuticle hair is carefully processed which leaves the cuticle layer in place. The end product is a premium quality hair product.
